A MTB CHALLENGE FOR EVERYONE

Festival Ride is the main activity of the Valtellina Ebike Festival! A challenge on an incredibly scenic track that runs on the Rhaetian side of the valley (Costiera dei Cech) through vineyards, castles, historic villages, forests and panoramas embracing Bassa Valtellina and upper Lake Como.

Festival Ride is designed over approximately 40 km, including long sections on trails (not too challenging) for a fun and exciting experience, with refreshment points where local products can be tasted.

Festival Ride is the on-the-road celebration of the e-MBT. A tour that will leave you with the feeling of having experienced something unique and tasted the best of Valtellina. Absolutely a must-ride!

The Festival Ride is a tour for those who know how to ride on mountain roads with steep sections. If you are used to ride an electric bike uphill, downhill, and are familiar with rough terrain, this is the tour for you!

DISCOVERING ALPINE FLAVOURS BY MTB

Gusto di Valtellina is the gastronomic tour of Valtellina Ebike Festival. The route is designed for those who want to spend a nice day enjoying the typical Valtellina cuisine. A pleasant 20 km excursion through the valley floor, terraced vineyards, churches and ancient monasteries, with refreshment points along the way where you can enjoy local food and wine.

The itinerary starts from the ebike Village, passing through Morbegno, and continues along a route on the valley floor, following the Sentiero Valtellina, the cycle path linking Colico and Bormio, and the country roads, linking the Orobic and Rhaetian sides. A bit of ascent on the Costiera dei Cech and the return towards Morbegno is along the Adda river, passing through the historic centre of the city of Bitto.

The food and wine stops are at some of the most evocative places along the route: the monastery of San Pietro in Vallate (dating back to 1078 A.D., it is one of the Epic Spots of VEF2023), the Latteria Sociale Valtellina, an historic cheese factory and the Parravicini palace in the centre of Traona.

The tour lasts about 4 hours and includes some sections of three of the most beautiful Valtellina bike and trekking paths: Via dei Terrazzamenti and Sentiero Valtellina.

A tour for those who love to experience mountain biking at 360° with technical uphills, rocky passages and flowing sections where you can let off the brakes.

The tour departs from the eBike Village by bike and heads straight off on an adventure involving alternating descents and ascents on the most exciting trails in Bassa Valtellina. The route takes bikers on the adventurous paths of the Orobian Alps. Trail Experience includes a stop for good food and fun in the company of the Alpini!

The Trail Experience is an enduro-style adventure guided by the mtb guides of 360 Valtellina Bike. No medical certificate is required to participate.

IS THE TRAIL EXPERIENCE FOR ME?

The Trail Experience is a tour for experienced bikers. If you know how to ride your bike downhill on narrow trails, exposed sections and are not afraid to tackle rocky and steep passages, this is the tour for you!

Val Masino e Foresta Incantata

IN THE LAND OF MOTHER NATURE

An all-mountain tour for good mountain-bikers to discover Val Masino and Val di Mello, an amazing and unique natural paradise in Italy.

The route from the ebike village to Val Masino is by shuttle bus. The beautiful e-MTB excursion begins in Filorera, following the cycle path through alpine villages and meadows with gigantic granite boulders. After reaching the centre of San Martino, the tour continues towards the Valle dei Bagni, passing through the Bagni di Masino Forest: a dense and silent forest of centuries-old beech and fir trees and moss-covered granite boulders. It reminds of a fairytale landscape! The path is up and down with some challenging technical passages. An obligatory stop is at Bagni di Masino to drink the curative waters that bubble to the surface at 38 °C.

The tour continues towards Val di Mello, one of the most famous natural places in the world. Here, parked the bike (access allowed only on foot), there is a beautiful walk along the mule track on the valley floor with stops at the most beautiful lakes, such as the Qualido lake and the Bidet della Contessa. The typical lunch with sciatt and pizzoccheri is in a restaurant in this wonderful valley.

The return to Morbegno is all to ride: after passing the Sasso Remenno, Europe's largest monolith and Epic Spot of VEF2023, and the Ponte del Baffo over the Masino stream, the route is on the Costiera dei Cech and its rural hamlets, with views over the Bassa Valtellina.
